Actor Ji Chang Wook was able to meet his Japanese fans.
The actor held two fan meetings over the weekend on February 23 and 24 in Tokyo and Osaka.
The actors' agency revealed that the tickets for his fan meetings sold out in 10 minutes after being released, therefore they added two additional fan meetings in Tokyo.
While at the event, the actor introduced himself in Japanese, played games, and got closer to his Japanese fans. He said he really enjoyed meeting and interacting his Japanese fans.
The actor also talked about what is it like to work on a musical, he said, “It's different from dramas and movies. I can communicate with the audience at a much close distance.”
Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is currently preparing to appear in the musical “The Days” where he plays the role of a body guard that works in the Blue House (President's Residency).
"These Days” is the mystery around the president's daughter who had mysteriously disappeared. This is a “jukebox musical,” which means that the musical will use familiar songs. This musical will focus on hits from folk legend Kim Kwang Suk.
“These Days,” will run from April to June at the Seoul’s Daehakro theater.
