E.L. James likes to keep in within family as her husband, Niall Leonard, will be writing the sequel the screenplay for "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel. Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan talked about the famous Red Room.
In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Niall Leonard was reportedly tapped by E.L. James to write the script for the second installment of "Fifty Shades of Grey."
"Niall Leonard, who is married and has two sons with the British author, is an author himself, in addition to being a screenwriter," said the report. "He's written for the British TV shows Air Force One Is Down and Wire in the Blood, among others. He's also the author of the Crusher book series. He also worked on the script for the first Fifty Shades but was not credited."
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson talked about the famous Red Room in "Fifty Shades of Grey," in an interview for the Blu Ray extras.
"The moment in the movie where you see me see the Red Room?" she recounted. "That was the first time I had actually ever seen it."
"I had never seen a photograph, I had never seen them building the set -- they kept it away from me, and I didn't want to see it, because I wanted the reaction to be as genuine as possible," she added.
Jamie Dornan, for his part, said in the same interview for the Blu Ray extra that he loves the Red Room in "Fifty Shades of Grey" and spent time there alone. However, it's to understand each nook and cranny of the space.
"As Christian Grey, he was supposed to own it, know where everything was, and feel completely at home there," Stir Mom claimed.
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" earned $568,823,458 in the worldwide box office, with only around $166 coming from the domestic market.
