Looks like Geri Halliwell's upcoming nuptials won't be creating a Spice Girls reunion, as Posh Spice and Mel C are reportedly not able to attend.
Speculations of a potential Spice Girls reunion have been making the rounds since Emma Bunton hinted a return of the famous girl band.
In the next few weeks, Geri Halliwell is set to tie the knot with the man of her dreams, the Team Principal of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula One team Christian Horner in West London. However, it looks like not all her former Spice Girls bandmates will be joining the ceremony, according to Famous.
A source close to the situation revealed that only one of Halliwell's former band members would make an appearance on the wedding.
The source told the Mirror that Geri was looking forward to getting the girls together as they've been an important part of her life but that doesn't seem to be happening as Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) has work commitments out of the country and Mel C (Sporty Spice) has already agreed to a TV role on Asia's Got Talent.
"Of course they both wish her the best for her big day but won't be able to be there in person. Fortunately, Mel B is heading back to attend," the source added.
Whether Emma Bunton will be able to attend is not yet known either, but Mel B is flying from Los Angeles for the wedding.
Horner broke his silence about the imminent marriage just last week, revealing that he's been on a keep-fit campaign to squeeze into his wedding suit. The pair got engaged in November and, just a few months back, Mirror wrote about an alleged family feud that had left Horner's parents refusing to attend the big day. It's reportedly still uncertain whether things have been properly patched up.
Although a reunion is obviously not happening at Geri's wedding, Mel B has revealed that the Spice Girls talk a lot about reuniting for live shows in 2016. Mel B says she and the other girls have not suspended the idea of doing something special to celebrate their 20th anniversary next year.
The 39-year-old star previously said, "I mean, we got together for the Olympics and nobody thought that we were going to get together for that. Next year is our 20th anniversary so we'll see. Maybe we'll do something. Who knows?"
