An image doing the rounds on several websites hinted that "Black Ops 3" will give its players a completely developed story mode involving zombies.
The first-person shooter video game, developed by Treyarch, has already been confirmed with more information the game slated to be released at E3 next month. Treyarch is expected to add their typical zombie mode into the game as well.
The off-screen leaked image from "Black Ops 3" features a Zombies menu from the game. Although the source is unknown, and if the leaked image making rounds around the internet is true, this is an indication that a zombie story mode will be present in the upcoming "Call of Duty" title, according to records on GearNuke.
That said, LazyGamer cited an image that was posted by NowGamer before the release of Black Ops 2 to confirm that the image teasing a zombie story mode is a complete fake. Basically, how can Treyarch can add a complete second single player experience to the same game is the big question, despite the fact that Treyarch has confirmed that Zombies this year will not only be unique but also mind-blowing.
While the latest instalment in the "Call of Duty" series is all set to launch on Friday, Nov. 6, according to publishers Activision, a Norwegian retailer revealed that "Black Ops 3" beta is slated to be available in August, which coincides with Game designer David Vonderhaar's statements. Although an exact date is not associated with it, the developer sets the goal for the beta to be released three months' time
Activision planning on spinning off the zombie mode as a new IP all of its own is no doubt conceivable, however signing off extra costs on development for a mode that is not even the core feature of "Call of Duty" is something that is hard to believe.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is slated to arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
