Hilary Duff just recently launched the music video for her new song, “Sparks.” The “Lizzie McGuire” reportedly went on actual dates with men she found on Tinder for the music video.
As reported by Billboard, Hilary Duff was seemingly promoting Tinder in "Sparks" video. She was seen looking for potential suitors with her friends and even going on a bowling date with a guy she met via the dating app.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, Duff revealed that the footage was an actual date.
"We went bowling so we didn't have to talk too much, but we did talk a lot actually," she said.
"He was cool. He brought a friend and I had some friends there. He used to be in editing for reality shows. Now, he's an actor and he just wrote a play. He's an interesting guy."
Unfortunately, even if the two hit it off, the singer said that she would not be seeing him again any time soon.
"To be honest, I don't really want [to date] an actor. [But] I think he has a few job," she said.
When asked about how the idea for the music video "Sparks" came about, Hilary Duff told Entertainment Weekly that she just wanted to do something that a lot of people could relate to.
"I wanted to know what it was like and if sparks really do happen. The theme of my song is sparks. It's about finding that with someone and then hanging onto it."
"I'm just a Tinder animal," she later added. "I had my Tinder training wheels on for my first date. Now it's smooth sailing."
The music video, however, was not all about Hilary Duff's dating life, fans were treated to some dance sequences where the actress showed off some slick routines.
"Sparks" is on Hilary Duff's new album, "Breathe In, Breathe Out," which is set to launch on June 16.
