It's not easy to grab the limelight when your husband is a global country music icon, but Nicole Kidman managed to steal the thunder from Keith Urban during the "American Idol" red carpet event. Later, the couple grabbed a bite with Jennifer Lopez.

For the event, Nicole Kidman chose to wear a leopard print mini-dress that showcased her long flawless legs.

"The strawberry blonde beauty's long bob was worn poker straight, looking sleeker than ever, allowing her natural beauty to shine through as she beamed at onlookers from the red carpet," Daily Mail reported.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been battling divorce rumors over the past year, and one of the reasons pointed to his busy schedule as the "American Idol" judge in Los Angeles while she's at their home in Australia.

But the couple managed to survive the rumors and judging by the photos, they are still as strong as ever since getting married in 2006. They have two daughters together, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

"The well-cut dress clung neatly to her svelte, lofty frame, accentuating her trim waistline thanks to the small belt across the middle," said Daily Mail. "And, adding further height to her elegant figure, she donned a pair of cut-out black strappy heels."

Keith Urban opted for a more classic look of black suit and tie, while allowing his long locks to flow freely.

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban had dinner with Jennifer Lopez following the "American Idol" finale.

"Jennifer Lopez was joined by Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman, as well as fellow judge Harry Connick Jr. and his wife Jill, for dinner at Osteria Mozza in West Hollywood last night, and we bet their party had a lot to discuss over their pasta!" X17 noted.

During the "American Idol" finale, judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. treated fans with a mini-concert before naming Nick Fradini this season's winner.
