FKA Twigs has been dating Robert Pattinson for about eight months now, and time doesn't make it easier to deal with all the fame.

In an interview with New York Times, where she also talked about her upcoming "Congregata" concert, FKA Twigs admitted that it's quite difficult to date somebody when the paparazzi are hounding all their moves.

"[It's really hard - I can't begin to explain how awful it is. It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror," she said.

People unfamiliar with her as an underground artist have branded FKA Twigs of dating Robert Pattinson to promote her own career. And being biracial, the racial attacks on Twitter and Instagram have been "relentless."

"There's no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I'm not a monkey," she said.

Just recently, FKA Twigs was the subject of a nasty baby bump rumor following the release of her new music video "Glass & Patron" where she mimicked pregnancy.

A source told OK! Magazine that during the engagement party at Coachella 2015, FKA Twigs only "drank juiced."

"And she and Rob were recently spotted leaving Los Angeles Century City Medical Plaza together. Rob has been super protective of her lately, it's adorable. Everyone in their camp is buzzing about a baby," the source alleged.

FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson were also rumored to be rushing their wedding after they allegedly got engaged during the Coachella 2015.

But all that comes with the territory in dating Robert Pattinson, and FKA Twigs realized that. As the singer told NY Times, "I didn't see my life going this way at all. But it's worth it. I'm so happy...Nothing can impale my work or make me choose not to say things a certain way or make an image the way I want."
