Julianna Margulies is reportedly ecstatic after Archie Panjabi left the set of "The Good Wife" as the two actresses were allegedly constantly feuding on set.

According to Star magazine, although their characters Alicia and Kalinda seemed like they had chemistry on the set, the feud rumors persisted.

"There had been tension between them ever since Archie won an Emmy before Julianna did. Alicia may miss Kalinda, but Julianna sure wasn't sad to see her go," a source told the tabloid.

But Archie Panjabi's leaving "The Good Wife" because of her feud with Julianna Margulies ended up as a blessing in disguise after scoring a lead role in a new series for another network.

"Archie is so talented, it's no surprise that she immediately got a pilot deal with FOX," the source added.

Previously, Archie Panjabi told Radio Times that it's time to exit "The Good Wife" after season 6 after filming a kissing scene.

"When I was kissing her, Allan Cubitt, the show's creator and director, had to say, 'Archie, can you hold back?', because Gillian was supposed to take me by complete surprise," she said. "I didn't think that I was very forward in (the scene), but obviously after a while a character starts to affect you.

"I thought, 'Okay, I think it's time to go now'," she said.

But there must be some grain of truth to the rumors that Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi were feuding on the set of "The Good Wife," if the finale episode is to be based.

According to TVLine, despite the touching farewells that provide closure to the relationship between Alicia and Kalinda, the two actresses didn't shoot the scene together.

"Body doubles were employed for the single shots, and the two-shot was spliced together in post-production," Michael Ausiello wrote in the article.

"It was one scene. We all work with people we don't like. (Think about the poor souls who had to act opposite a certain CSI: Miami actor for the better part of a decade.) But you grin, bear it and get the job done. That's what needed to happen here," he added.
