Sophia Smith gave a glimpse of why One Direction member Liam Payne is one lucky boy as she displayed her curves in a sheer dress while vacationing in France at the sidelines of the Grand Monaco Prix.

Liam Payne is taking advantage of the break from One Direction for its "On The Road Again" worldwide tour as he took girlfriend Sophia Smith to Eze sur Mer near Monaco.

"Turning heads as she passed by, Sophia cut a striking figure in a black semi-sheer maxi which was worn over high-waisted bikini," Daily Mail reported. "With her sleek brunette tresses left loose in cascading waves, the English beauty looked nothing short of glamorous in her holiday style choice."

The One Direction member, meanwhile, opted for a plaid shirt over a white shirt which he paired off with a pair of red boardshorts.

On Thursday last week, Liam Payne and girlfriend Sophia Smith took the sights as they attended the Monaco Grand Prix.

"He kept it casual in a grey jumper and dark jeans while his girlfriend opted for a white coat, blue denim jeans a black top, adding to the outfit with brown heeled sandals," the British tabloid noted.

"The couple hugged for the cameras and Liam even posed with some of the cars on display at Red Bull Racing Energy Station in Monte Carlo," the article added.

One Direction member Liam Payne and long-time girlfriend Sophia Smith were rumored to be engaged last year after they were snapped stepping out of Tiffany & Co. store in New York City on Dec. 19.

Liam Payne earlier told Capital FM why Zayn Malik had to leave One Direction.

"He had to do what he had to do really, for himself. Sometimes you have to move on because you're not enjoying what you're doing as much as you used to," he said. "He wanted to spend time with his family and his missus. We wish him all the best."
