It's official. Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff have released an official statement announcing the end of their relationship. The former engaged couple has split up two months after "The Bachelor" season 19 finale aired.

"The Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss confirmed that Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff had called it quits via Twitter.

"Sad news to report: ‪@souleschris and ‪@whitbisch are no longer engaged...

"The Bachelor" season 19 couple recently released a statement to announce the devastating news to the surprise of fans of the ABC series.

"Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement. They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey," it said.

Although the former couple did not reveal the cause of the breakup, several reports claim that Whitney have had it with Chris' always cheating on her. It has long been rumored that the duo have broken up several weeks back and were just staying together to "remain relevant" and keep their "newfound celebrity status."

Several gossip websites have previously reported that the couple is only staying together because they were pressured by ABC to stay together until the premiere of "The Bachelorette" 2015.

Rumors suggested that Chris Soules has also been cheating on Whitney Bischoff with his "Dancing With The Stars" partner Witney Carson. After the pair got engaged, it was said that Soules had been neglecting his fiancé.

"Whitney can only take too much. When she learned that Chris was pitching another reality TV show about their engagement she went through the roof. She just wanted a family and babies, and she is totally embarrassed by his fling with Witney Carson. She's sick of Chris making her look like a fool and using her to get ahead in his career," the source said.
