Calvin Harris is proving to be the perfect boyfriend as he's promised to take care of Taylor Swift's cats while the "Bad Blood" hitmaker is away on tour.

According to the report from Hollywood Life, Calvin Harris will be house-sitting girlfriend Taylor Swift's apartment and take care of her pets, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, for the meantime.

The source said, "Add cat baby sitter to Calvin's duties as boyfriend. He brought it up to Taylor that he would be happy to watch her cats while she is away, so she took him up on it. So you will probably see Calvin in New York a lot more without her."

The website took it to mean that things between Calvin Harris and girlfriend Taylor Swift are getting serious.

"Taylor has made it clear that her cats, Olivia and Meredith, mean EVERYTHING to her, so letting Calvin take care of them while she's away is a huge step," it said.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift is reportedly house-hunting in Berkshire in order to be close to boyfriend Calvin Harris and friend Ed Sheeran.

According to Daily Mirror, the "Blank Space" singer has already her eyes set on a mansion about 35 miles outside of London.

"The 'stunning' period property has a gym, spa, music room and cinema inside sizeable walled grounds - and is just minutes from the riverbank," the article said. "But not surprisingly such ­splendour doesn't come cheap and the ­property comes with a whopping £9million price tag."

While it's not yet a done deal, the mansion possessed that "lovely, traditional English feel" which Taylor Swift apparently likes.

"Not only does Taylor have loads of British friends, she is dating Calvin Harris and is also very close to Ed Sheeran, who is one of her closest mates. She's keen to spend more time in England," the source told Mirror.

Apart from his multi-million Beverly Hills mansion, Calvin Harris also has a house in his hometown in Dumfries, about six hours away by train from London.
