The miserable season of the Los Angeles Lakers has affected Jeremy Lin much more than he cares to admit. And then the rumors are flying around that Linsanity is returning to the Houston Rockets next season.

In his blog, Jeremy Lin wrote that he took nearly four weeks before getting back to the gym to work on his game.

"As for me mentally, I felt pretty burnt out coming out of this past season," he wrote. "I felt like I gave great effort to play well, play the right way, and maintain the right perspective despite seeing very little fruit. So when the season first ended I felt very...lazy. I know it's natural to feel worn out after a long year, but I was surprised by how drained I felt and how little excitement I felt to start my off-season training."

Fortunately, he regained his desire to work out again and possibly regain back his Linsanity form. Whether the results of his efforts will be shown on a Los Angeles Lakers uniform remains to be seen particularly with the rumors that Jeremy Lin will go back to the Houston Rockets.

During the exit interviews, James Harden said that hopefully the team can add another ball handler and playmaker in the next season to take a huge load off of him.

"That's one of the conversations me and Daryl are going to have (and) the coaches. That's one of the pieces to add, but that's later conversations. We'll be all right. We're very confident in the group we have. This summer we have to work hard and be ready for next year," Harden said.

Jeremy Lin could be the potential candidate since he averaged at least 13 points and 5 assists in Houston Rockets uniform. Although that's a far cry from his Linsanity averages, the 6-3 point guard remained a potential candidate.

Even with the Los Angeles Lakers' miserable season, Jeremy Lin still averaged 2.2 turnovers a game, which was the lowest of his career.
