Former "The Shield" teammates and brothers Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are all set to lock horns at WWE Money in the Bank PPV this Sunday for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

With Kane being recently added as the seventh participant to the ladder match at WWE Money in the Bank, more excitement was added to the upcoming pay-per-view taking place on Sunday, June 14 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

However, fresh from their impressive performances at Elimination Chamber, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are expected to steal the show yet again on pay-per-view.

While speculations about the possible outcomes of the match are doing rounds, all sorts of twists can be expected when the two former teammates lock horns at Money in the Bank PPV, Bleacher Report noted.

Ambrose in recent weeks rose to popularity in WWE, and it won't be a surprise if "The Lunatic Fringe" actually wins the title on Sunday on his own or with a little help from someone else.

Obviously, it would be none other than Roman Reigns who could lend a helping hand to Ambrose if he is to win the big prize, especially since the two have formed an alliance in recent weeks. However, reports on CageSideSeats suggest that the alliance could probably lead toward a heel turn for one of them.

Although there is no confirmation about who it will be, but Reigns seems to be more likely as WWE wouldn't want to throw away Ambrose's momentum as the most popular baby face they currently have. Plus, with Reigns winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, there are quite a few ways in which Reigns can turn on his Shield brother, Ambrose.

There is a possibility that Reigns could cash in his briefcase on the same night as winning it, immediately after Ambrose claims the big prize himself. Rollins, along with J&J Security and Kane all lay a beat down on Ambrose after he wins the match, leaving Reigns coming down and cashing in his briefcase.

This will not only set up a feud between the two Shield teammates for the big prize but also free up Rollins to have his planned feud with "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar.

The other possibility is that Reigns could interfere toward the conclusion of the match; however this doesn't imply that he'd join The Authority. Nevertheless, a heel turn for Reigns would allow Lesnar to go after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship he lost to Rollins at WrestleMania 31.

That being said, there is a chance of Rollins pulling out yet another controversial win, especially with the number game coming into play. That would enable Lesnar to come out and confront Rollins on Raw the following night, suggesting that the two will meet in the ring for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

Ambrose winning clean without any help from Reigns or interference from an outside party is the least likely scenario of all, nevertheless it cannot be ignored.

Of course, these are just speculations and rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill and need to be taken with a pinch of salt.
