"The Fallen Angel," Christopher Daniels may join the growing list of former TNA wrestlers including Samoa Joe to make his transition to the WWE.
Christopher Daniels made an appearance on The Rack this past Thursday Night to discuss several topics, including a possible WWE debut for the Ring of Honor star.
"I've never said never; right now I'm full-time committed to Ring of Honor but I don't know what the future holds in terms of that. All I can say is wait and see," Daniels noted.
Daniels, who is one half of ROH World Tag Team Champions, "The Addiction," opened up about his upcoming match with Frankie Kazarian versus AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, if there is pressure on them to make this match great, who would he like to face within ROH, and even his thoughts on "Spider-Man" making it to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and more, Wrestling Inc. noted.
"I'm thrilled for him, I'm happy for him and I'm glad that he's sort of paving a way for a lot of different people, I think; in the next year or so, there's going to be a lot of people that are modeling that same leap and, truthfully, Joe wasn't the first one," Daniels said about Samoa Joe signing with the World Wrestling Entertainment.
"When Kevin Owens went to the WWE, or when Finn Balor went to the WWE, I feel like there's a lot more guys that will be brought to the WWE, either through NXT or directly to the main roster. I think there's going to be a lot of guys who've been on the independents that have been honing their craft for a while and will finally get that opportunity to be there. "
He continued, so, I'm thrilled for him, Joe's been one of my best friends for a long time and you can't help but to be happy and be proud of someone who has worked as hard as he has to finally get that opportunity to show the world, on the main stage, what kind of professional wrestler he is."
Talking about NXT champion Kevin Owens, "The Fallen Angel" noted, "I think he's doing just fine. I'd be hard-pressed to find someone who debuted on the WWE main roster as successfully as he had in the past 10 years I think. I mean, name anyone who's first WWE match, main roster match, was a pinball victory over John Cena; I think you'd be hard-pressed to find someone, other than Kevin, who does that."
Even when Bobby Lashley, who left WWE in 2008 citing frustration with the company's creative team, was asked if he would consider every returning to WWE, his answer was enough to stir conversations and send imaginations of wrestling fans running wild.
"Sure," Lashley said to answer the question if fans will see him wrestle again in the four sided ring.
Bobby Lashley recently made an appearance on an episode of Submission Radio to discuss developments in his professional wrestling and MMA career. Earlier speculations doing rounds suggested that the cable network will stop carrying Impact Wrestling, TNA's flagship program later this year.
Lashley pointed out that he is not concerned with matters regarding TNA's television contract negotiation. However, he did share his point of view on the working relationship between the aforementioned entities.
In comments, according to records on Ringside News, Lashley said, "I'm sure they're going to be able to reach an agreement; reach a deal where they're going to have a home, and they're going to be there for a long time."
