Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly planning a get-together with ex Chris Martin and his current beau, Jennifer Lawrence, in what could be an awkward island getaway.
According to Radar Online, the "Iron Man" actress reportedly thinks it's the right time for the "Hunger Games" star to meet the Coldplay frontman's brood.
The source said, "Gwyneth recognizes it's time for Jen to meet the whole family, and she wants Chris to be there for Brad's first proper bonding experience with the children.
"The plan is to spend a week together in Hawaii, as soon as all their schedules permit, but definitely before the end of summer," the source added.
However, Jennifer Lawrence is not excited by the prospect of spending time with boyfriend Chris Martin's ex. But it doesn't matter anyway because the Coldplay frontman reportedly wants to make it happen to keep his ex, Gwyneth Paltrow, happy.
"Poor Jen is dreading it. Chris is still spellbound by Gwyneth and her rules, so he's insisting on it," the report claimed.
In January this year, Gwyneth Paltrow acknowledged the relationship between Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence on Howard Stern's Sirius radio show.
"Who says I don't approve of Jennifer Lawrence? I respect him as the father of my children...It's his decision...He wouldn't be with someone who isn't great," she said.
In April, Gwyneth Paltrow officially filed divorce papers to have her marriage from Chris Martin quashed.
In the interview with Howard Stern, the "Iron Man" actress explained her split from the Coldplay frontman.
"We laugh and we have fun but there are times when it's really difficult. Things happen and you're like, I'm sure he doesn't want to hang out with me and I don't want to hang out with him but for the sake of the kids, you do it," she said. "But you also don't do it all tense. You say, 'I really want to find the love for you and I want to forgive you and I want you to forgive me and let's have some fun as a family.'"
