Dad where are you going?

The top star of the MBC show "Dad, Where Are You Going?" has been getting more attention from the public and the media than any top celebrity.

When the news of "Dad, Where Are You Going?" first spread in the media, the response was not great. However, the show's ability to feature the genuine innocence of the children on this show creates a very entertaining show filled with endless adorable scenes. The expected viewers of the show were parents, but after it began to air, people of all ages and gender have become devoted viewers.

After the MBC TV show "Dad, Where Are You Going?" featured Yoon Hoo's eating scenes, his "eating broadcast" has even been featured in a commercial. The behind the scenes of the commercial has also been drawing attention. In addition all the photos Yoon Hoo's mother and father upload onto their personal webpages appear in countless online articles.

Few days ago, Yoon Hoo's mother updated a post requesting media sources to top using Yoon Hoo's photos in their articles. When the photos of Yoon Hoo's mother began appearing in the articles, she began to delete photos on her personal webpage.

Yoon Hoo's popularity is in an ironic situation. It is necessary for a member of a show to get some type of attention but since Yoon Hoo is so young, it could be harmful to him. This hype is making Yoon Hoo the public's child, not his mom and dad's child.

From all of this attention, we wonder if Yoon Hoo will be able to walk around the streets as a normal child. Children are prone to be affected by outside factors like this, especially when they're hard to avoid, like Yoon Hoo's case.

Even in the last episode, people in the bus recognized Yoon Hoo and expressed their adoration for him. Will this 8-year-old child be able to handle all of this attention? Will his innocence be preserved regardless of all this exposure?

One of the attractive elements of "Dad, Where Are You Going?" was that the kids who are featured are typical kids despite of their celebrity dads. However, as they are exposed to the media more and more, we will no longer be able to see "typical kids" on the show since they will become celebrities.

Ironically, something that people loved could be destroyed by their love for it. It is too late for Yoon Hoo's popularity to turn back now. It is now all up to the public and the media to preserve Yoon Hoo's innocence.
