After a long absence from Kdramaland, actress Park Bo Young recently landed a role as the haunted kitchen assistant Na Bong Sun in the drama "Oh My Ghost." The female ghost who haunts her character has never been in love and wants to take over her body to experience falling in love. Naturally, this will create some problems for Na Bong Sun.

Park has not appeared in a drama since the 2007 drama "Strongest Chil Woo."

Here are some more facts you may not know about the actress.

1. Once Park accepted the "Oh My Ghost" role, she became the highest paid actress to ever appear in a tvN drama. According to the Korean media outlet Daily Sports, she will earn around $30,000.

2. Although Park has not done many dramas lately, she has appeared in films. She appeared in the film "A Werewolf Boy" with Song Joong Ki and the film "Speedy Scandal" with co-star Cha Tae Hyun, who recently appeared as a producer in the drama "Producer." "Speedy Scandal" was one of Korea's biggest box office hits, selling over 8 million tickets. "A Werewolf Boy" was also a hit, selling over 7 million tickets.

3. She starred in the horror film "Don't Click" even though horror films terrify her. In an interview with TenAsia, she confessed that she is scared to watch them.

"I'm not a big fan of horror movies and I usually close my eyes when the movies show scary scenes," she said. But she took the role in "Don't Click" anyway and it led to her being called the "new queen of horror."

4. She sang for the soundtracks of both of her recent hit films. For "A Werewolf Boy," Park released a digital single titled "My Prince. For "Speedy Scandal" she sang "Era of Freedom."

5. She confessed to being charmed by her "Hot Young Bloods" co-star Lee Jong Suk. In an interview with the Korean media outlet Newsen, she spoke about his charms.

"I realized how charming Lee Jong Suk is after getting to know him in person," said Park. "I think his character in the film 'Hot Young Bloods' is exactly how he is in real life. If I were to pick a trait that's similar between him and his character Joon Gil, it's the aegyo. He has a lot of aegyo."

In 2015 she can also be seen in the films "Mutant" and "You Call That Passion."
