According to the July 16 report from Nielsen Korea, the SBS melodrama "Mask" recorded 11.3 percent of nationwide viewers. This was an increase of 0.2 percent from ratings of 11.1 percent, which were recorded on July 9.

As the series begins to draw to a climactic close, loose ends continue to be tied up. Choi Min Woo (Joo Ji Hoon) is shocked to discover the truth behind the death of Seo Eun Ha (Soo Ae) and the plot to replace her with Byun Ji Sook. Ji Sook is conflicted by his seemingly cold emotions, particularly after his attempts to draw closer to her. However, he is willing to rescue her when the opportunity presents itself.

"Mask" continues to its over-the-top journey. The series will conclude its 20-episode run on July 20.

"Scholar Who Walks the Night" demonstrated the unlikely possibility that CPR existed during the Joseon period. The MBC series recorded 7.7 percent in national viewership, as the vampire scholar Kim Sung Yeol (Lee Joon Gi) rescued Jo Sang Yun (Lee Yoo Bi) from a young vampire which was hell-bent on her destruction. During his act of valor, Sang Yun briefly realizes that Sung Yeol could be a vampire.

Sung Yeol thwarts the plan of Gwi by killing the newly-formed vampire but is forced to escape with Sang Yun. He seeks sanctuary in a nearby river, plunging them both into the depths of the deep water. Sung Yeol is then tasked with performing CPR to revive Sang Yun, in a strangely erotic scene.

The KBS 2 series, "Assembly," premiered with an audience of 5.2 percent in nationwide viewership.

"Assembly" chronicles the rags-to-riches story of Jin Sang Pil (Jung Jae Young), a ship welder who is elected as a national assemblyman. He receives help from Choi In Gyeong (Song Yoon A), who assists Sang Pil in his journey towards becoming a skilled government official. 2PM's Taecyeon also leads the cast as Kim Gyu Hwan.

The series replaces "Masked Prosecutor," which struggled with ratings throughout its run, but concluded with 6.9 percent of nationwide viewers.
