Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik had a brief feud after the latter quit the band to be with Perrie Edwards. Now, it seems the news about the One Direction hottie becoming a first time daddy has done wonders to regain their friendship.

According to Hollywood Life, Zayn Malik reached out to Louis Tomlinson after finding out that he's going to have a baby with Briana Jungwirth.

The insider alleged, "Zayn sent Louis a really open, honest, and emotional letter congratulating him. Zayn told him what a great father he thought Louis would be and how proud he was of his friend. It actually brought tears to Louis eyes."

The article continued, "The baby news has also helped reunite Louis and Zayn. They had been so close only to be pulled apart during all the Naughty Boy BS. But Zayn still thinks of Louis as a brother and the fact that he's going to be a father really had a profound effect on him."

It was earlier reported that Louis Tomlinson is going to be a first-time daddy after Briana Jungwirth became pregnant. The stylist was said to be dating the One Direction band member back in May, but nothing has been heard from her since until the pregnancy news.

But Entertainment Tonight claimed even before the baby news, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson already ended their feud after Perrie Edwards' fiancé had a falling out with music producer Naughty Boy for allegedly leaking his music video.

Louis Tomlinson and Naughty Boy have never liked each other and traded jibes on social media.

"In March, he criticized the producer for posting an old demo for the boy band's last album, which fans quickly presumed was a new solo track from Zayn," the article said.

"Fans then began to question Zayn's motives for leaving the successful British boy band, as he said, to 'be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.'"
