Robert Pattinson was snapped on Friday sporting a full beard while accompanying girlfriend FKA Twigs where she performed at the Manchester International Festival.
"You can't just call this scruff," noted Pop Sugar. "On Sunday, Robert Pattinson debuted a thick beard on a sunny outing with FKA Twigs in Manchester, England. The actor and singer walked up the sidewalk, with FKA Twigs following closely behind. At one point, Robert's signature grin peeked out beneath his whiskers."
When he was snapped, the "Twilight" actor was wearing tapered trousers, a while shirt and khaki bomber jacket. He completed his look with Nike trainers and a cap worn backwards. He was also wearing a pair of sunglasses perhaps to keep a bit of anonymity or to shield his eyes from the glare.
His girlfriend walked behind him and the music artist was wearing tattered jeans, black vest top, black leather jacket adorned with embroidered flowers and black boots. She also wore a leather belt bag and pink glasses for good measure.
Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have been hounded by the tabloids, as well as "Twilight" fans still hoping that he would get back with Kristen Stewart, ever since they became an item.
Celebrity Dirty Laundry, which claimed that Robert Pattinson's career seemingly died when he hooked up with FKA Twigs, whose own career seemed to have thrived.
"The Twilight hunk is obviously smitten with the British singer, but her motives have always been questionable. Since they began dating FKA Twigs' career has been taking off, but their relationship seems to have the opposite effect on Robert Pattinson's," it said.
The article also claimed that the reason for Robert Pattinson's exit from "Brimstone," where he's replaced by "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington, was because "his needy fiancé Twigs was making it too difficult for him to devote himself to the film entirely."
Robert Pattinson will next be seen in "Queen of the Desert" where the synopsis reads, "A chronicle of Gertrude Bell's life, a traveler, writer, archaeologist, explorer, cartographer, and political attaché for the British Empire at the dawn of the twentieth century."
