Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts have reportedly been nursing a feud for years and the two Hollywood A-listers were even rumored to refuse working with each other.
The reason behind Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts' fight is unclear. However, various reports claim that the actresses' rift started over a guy - Matthew Perry.
"Back in the good ol' days when "Friends" was the reigning sitcom on TV, Julia Roberts was dating Aniston's co-star Matthew Perry," Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote.
"Julia infamously dumped Perry for her personal trainer and broke his heart, and his over-protective pal Jennifer Aniston never really forgave Roberts. In Julia's defense, she was none too pleased with Jennifer Aniston because she was meddling in her relationship with Perry from day one."
However, it seems that Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts have buried the hatchet and have moved on from their feud to work together in a romantic comedy along with Kate Hudson.
"Open Road Films has picked up U.S. rights to Garry Marshall's Mother's Day, the latest in the director's holiday movie series which includes New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day," Deadline wrote.
"The film, which stars Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis, follows the lives of several mothers leading up to the title holiday. Open Road will release Mother's Day wide on April 29, 2016, the weekend prior to Mother's Day. Production starts in Atlanta next month."
To prepare for the production, Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts have reportedly been conditioning themselves to being around each other so as not to appear awkward on screen.
"They have begun arranging lunches and public outings to signal that they are cool with each other," a source reportedly told OK! Magazine.
Even so, people involved in the production are still reportedly being careful around Julia and Jennifer.
"Production isn't taking any chances, though they are going out of their way to make sure that Jennifer and Julia don't have to spend any time together when the cameras aren't rolling, and they are going above and beyond to ensure there is no bad blood between the two actresses on set," Celeb Dirty Laundry added.
