The rumors about FKA Twigs using Robert Pattinson to boost her own career persist as the British singer is now allegedly pushing the "Twilight" actor to take on mainstream roles instead of the indie films he loves on doing.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Robert Pattinson is now "cozying up " to the likes of Bard Pitt and other A-list Hollywood stars to build up his network for future mainstream movie roles.
Reportedly, Brad Pitt fought for Robert Pattinson to land a role in the "Lost City of Z." The movie is being optioned by Brad Pitt's company, Plan B.
The synopsis for "Lost City of Z" read, "In 1925, the legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett ventured into the Amazon jungle in search of a fabled civilization. He never returned."
Robert Pattinson is also trying to develop a friendship with Charlie Hunnam, who plays Percy Fawcett in the film, the tabloid added.
"Coincidently, before FKA Twigs was dating Robert Pattinson, most people didn't know who she was," CDL added. "After Twigs started dating Kristen Stewart's ex, the career she had been building gained more attention."
"It would appear as though FKA Twigs is banking on the fame and notoriety that comes with dating Robert Pattinson."
It continued, "It is not only possible, but very likely Twigs is pushing Robert into more mainstream roles, which keep him on the A-list and put bigger paychecks in the bank."
FKA Twigs previously said that it's not easy dating Robert Pattinson because her movements are always under a microscope and they are always hounded by the paparazzi.
"[It's really hard - I can't begin to explain how awful it is. It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror," she said in an interview with the New York Times.
