Being an actor in a k-drama or k-movie may involve kissing co-stars but not usually 13 of them in the same production. That's what actress Han Hyo Joo had to do when she was filming "The Beauty Inside."
At a press conference for the film, she spoke about the experience of locking lips with such a variety of actors.
"Including the kiss scenes in the movie, I filmed kiss scenes with 13 different actors in total," she said.
That's because her character Hong Yi Soo is in love with Woo Jin, a man who turns into a different person every morning and as a result is played by different actors. When Woo Jin wakes up he might be a different age, gender or nationality. Sometimes he's old and sometimes he is young. The only constant in his life is Yi Soo, who loves him regardless. But that's not to say it's always easy for her.
Yi Soo not only has to adjust to living with a new person, at least outwardly, every day, but as she still loves that person, she also wants to express her love by kissing him.
The actress, who previously appeared in the dramas "Dong Yi," "Brilliant Legacy" and "Iljimae," would not name more than two of the actors she kissed in the film.
"The number includes Kim Sang Ho and Kim Dae Myung," she said.
Out of the 20 or more actors that played Woo Jin that leaves us guessing who the other 11 might be.
Is it Do Ji Han, Bae Sung Woo, Park Shin Hye, Lee Bum Soo, Park Seo Joon, Kim Sang Ho, Chun Woo Hee, Lee Jae Joon, Hong Da Mi, Jo Dal Hwan, Lee Jin Wook, Kim Min Jae, Seo Kang Joon, Kim Hee Won, Lee Dong Wook, Go Ah Sung, Lee Hyun Woo, Kim Joo Hyuk, Yoo Yeon Suk or Juri Ueno?
Did she just have to kiss her male co-stars?
Having appeared in over 20 k-dramas and films, Han Hyo Joo has had her share of kissing co-stars, but this film will bump up her numbers.

"The Beauty Inside" is adapted from a 2012 U.S. social film "The Beauty Inside." That film won commercial awards at the 2013 Clio Awards & Cannes Lions.
