Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have been married for seven years. And now, rumors claim that a divorce may be in the works for the Hollywood couple.

Speculations about the possibility of a divorce ignited when rumors surfaced that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are allegedly living in separate houses. Did the talk show host and the "Scandal" actress already gave up on their marriage?

If rumors of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's relationship troubles were true, then it seems that they're trying to work things out and rekindle their flame.

In June, the couple has been spotted in Cape Town Airport after spending a week on a safari holiday at the luxury Sabi Sands Reserve lodge in Singita.

"And the vacation appears to have done wonders for the pair, who both looked relaxed and at ease ahead of their flight," Daily Mail reported.

"The pair put divorce rumors firmly to rest as they walked hand in hand through the airport only separating to hug friends goodbye at the terminal."

According to Star magazine, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi has reportedly been going to couples' therapy to sort out their issues and prevent a looming divorce.

"It was a very unhealthy situation, but they have begun the healing process," a source told the magazine. "They are finally dealing with their issues. Portia often complains that she feels bullied. With Ellen's show on hiatus for the summer, she is home bossing Portia around all day and expecting her to be at her beck and call."

However, some speculate that Ellen and Portia's issues may be too messy that divorce might be the only way to resolve the problem.

"At this point, both women seem to absolutely miserable, and it seems like every other week they are getting caught fighting and bickering somewhere," Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote.

"Pulling the plug on their marriage and filing for a divorce might be the best thing for all parties involved, and for us too."
