“Pretty Little Liars” star Sasha Pieterse, who plays Alison DiLaurentis on the hit ABC Family series, revealed that she was surprised when she found out A’s identity in the season 6 finale. She said the highly anticipated series finale will not only shock the viewers but it will also answer the questions that they’ve been asking since the show began.

"The finale episode is my favorite episode we've done so far," she told Hollywood Life.

"It's so intricate. There's all these details. You find out so much. But also, the actor that plays this character is mind-blowing. They did such a good job at portraying all that Marlene [King] and all of our writers wanted. It was just an honor to be in that episode, honestly. Marlene directed it, and I love the direction they're taking, and it's basically reinventing our show."

It has long been rumored that "A" is Alison's brother Charles DiLarentis. Now that "Pretty Little Liars" fans will get to see who the bully is in the season 6 finale, the actress revealed that it will create a huge impact in the lives of the cast members. She added that her character was totally "freaked out" and "blindsided" by the big reveal.

"This is someone I think Alison would least expect to be 'A' and to rock the girls' world. It's kind of a betrayal, but at the same time, it's confusing," she told the publication.

"It's going to be interesting to see the way the fans react to it. I think they're going to love it, but it's not out of the blue either. It's kind of someone who's been there, but you would just never think so. And I think this is a really great choice, and it makes so much sense."

"And the way the've written it ties everything together. It's a really dark story, but it's also a really touching story. I think the fans aren't going to know how to feel about it. It's not like we've made this person just to regurgitate everything so everyone gets answers. It's a really in-depth, heartbreaking story, and I think it's also nice for our show as well. It's not just us trying to give you answers, it's about telling this remarkable story."
