A new name is creating a buzz in Hollywood and it is Alicia Vikander. Alicia has at least seven other films scheduled for release in 2015 other than "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." ABC News described her as "stunning" and dubbed her the new Hollywood "it girl?"
"It's a bit of a coincidence," Vikander told ABC News. "A film I did that came out at the beginning of the year, I did almost three years ago. And then a film I just finished in April is coming out now in November. So it's a bit of a coincidence that many of them come out at the same time."
Even if it is sheer coincidence, Hollywood directors are scrambling to sign her on for films. In her newest flick she stars opposite Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer.
"They are like the most handsomest and loveliest easy going people," Vikander told Peter Travers. "I don't think I've ever had so much fun shooting a film like this one."
Vikander plays a car mechanic in the film "The Man from U.N.C.L.E", a part which she bagged without even knowing how to drive, according to ABC News.
"I very much knew she was a car mechanic that I was gonna play," Vikander said. "I was kind of prepping myself to tell them throughout the day but then I just got the part. And then I just told them that I don't even have a driver's license."
It so happens that (Proofread) Vikander's co-star Elizabeth Debicki couldn't drive either. Both of them are taking part-time driving lessons at the Leaveston Studios in London to prepare for their roles.
Vikander is still trying to get used to all the stardom. It is rumored that she is dating actor Michael Fassbender. But she dislikes the attention from the paparazzi.
"It's a strange situation," said Vikander. "You know, two days later your friend says, oh I saw that you, uh...And you're like what? And then you realize that it was a camera somewhere and you had no idea," reported ABC.
