Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski had another star-studded date night at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Grants Banquet in Beverly Hills, California, Daily Mail reported.

While it is often said that 'black is boring', the 32-year-old British beauty proved it all wrong and showed to the world the power of Lthe LBD. She was dressed to kill in a stunning yet simple dress by Michael Kors. The dress was knee-length that cinched in at the waist with a leather belt.

"The mother-of-one styled her simple look with black and white strappy heeled Casadei sandals and Milly clutch," The Daily Mail shared.

She slicked back her short locks in a sleek ponytail and wore minimal makeup on her flawless complexion.

Meanwhile, John also dressed to impress in a grey suit and color coordinated his tie with his wife of five years," the report added.

Before the event, the couple seemed to be making time for each other. They spent the morning working out together at the Rise Movement Studio in West Hollywood, Daily Mail reported.

Meanwhile, the Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie, announced that he is hoping to shoot a sequel of Blunt's 2014 flick Edge of Tomorrow.

The director said that the sci-fi movie, which also starred Tom Cruise, is in talks for a sequel - but only if Emily is on board.

'It all comes down to WB [Warner Bros] and Doug Liman [director] and Emily Blunt saying yes,' McQuarrie told Uproxx.

'The idea is there... That was one of the best creative teams I've ever worked with as far as a team of rivals. Emily is one facet of that; Doug Liman is a completely different and opposing force; Tom Cruise is another. And there I am in the middle, just playing to these three really strong, really smart people," McQuarrie added.
