Just a couple of weeks after Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral, Bobby Brown tried to drown his sorrows by going to the Ha Ha Café Comedy Club in Los Angeles along with six off his family members.
A source told People, "He was in a good mood."
"He was jovial," another insider said. "He was fairly open with his feelings with fans, stating that he was heartbroken."
In Touch Weekly noted that it has been a rough ride for Bobby Brown since Bobbi Kristina Brown was rushed to the hospital after Whitney Houston's daughter was found face down in a bathtub in January this year.
"The past six months have been an emotional roller coaster for the former husband of the late Whitney Houston," it said. "Shortly after Bobbi Kristina was moved to a hospice, his wife Alicia Etheredge gave birth to the couple's second child, a daughter, on July 9."
The tabloid continued, "Hours after Bobbi Kristina's funeral, Alicia suffered a seizure and was rushed to the hospital."
Bobbi Kristina Brown was buried in a touching funeral on Aug. 3, but Bobby Brown wasn't in attendance, so was her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who was slapped with a lawsuit by the family for allegedly stealing from Whitney Houston's daugther's estate. Later, the suit was amended to "wrongful death" after he allegedly slipped her a toxic cocktail that led to her death.
Now, a new report from Radar Online claimed that just a couple of weeks from Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral, Nick Gordon is already reading scripts for an upcoming Whitney Houston biopic.
The report alleged, "The family is sickened by this. They just want to be left alone to deal with the loss of a very young and valuable member of the family, but at the same time they understand the demand from fans to have their story told from an accurate standpoint."
