A lot of rumors about Tom Cruise's alleged girlfriend has been circulating this 2015.

According to previous reports, Tom Cruise has purportedly fallen in love with his 22-year-old assistant, Emily Thomas. Earlier this 2015, the "Mission Impossible" star's girlfriend has caught a lot of attention for purportedly looking a lot like Tom Cruise's ex-wife, Katie Holmes.

Back when Tom Cruise was shooting "Mission: Impossible 5" in November, Us Weekly reported that the actor has already been crushing on Emily Thomas.

"He's always flirting with her," a source told Us. "Most people on the film have noticed how into her he is. He's already asked Emily to go out to dinner with him, on a date, when they're done shooting."

Things between Tom Cruise and his rumored girlfriend have reportedly been going smoothly since they worked together in "Mission Impossible" which hit theaters this 2015.

Tom Cruise has also employed Emily Thomas to be his assistant for his 2015 movies, including the one he's shooting right now entitled "Mena."

However, it seems that Emily Thomas' mom and dad are allegedly not on board on their daughter's purported relationship with the movie star.

"Emily's parents were ecstatic for her when she got the job as Tom's assistant on Mission: Impossible, but they never imagined in a million years thought their daughter would fall for him," an insider reportedly told Dish Nation.

"Emily is obviously close to Tom, since she's his assistant, but there's no telling with a 22-year-old whether or not she'd be honest with them about her love life."

Apparently, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas' disapproval of Tom Cruise may have something to do with his past relationships and how he is as a dad.

"It's not just Tom's age, although it's a factor for them," the insider added. "He's clearly had a string of unsuccessful relationships and three marriages that ended in divorce. He doesn't see his kids very often. He would thrust their daughter into the often mean spotlight of the public eye.'

Another thing that doesn't impress the parents of Tom Cruise's girlfriend? The actor's religion.

"And they won't even begin to get into the Scientology aspect because it's something they view very negatively and do not want their daughter involved in," the insider dished out.
