Katy Perry and Taylor Swift's feud has reportedly been going on for months. The war caught the public's attention when Taylor Swift released her "Bad Blood" music video in May.

In the music video, Taylor's friend, Selena Gomez, played Arsyn, an enemy of Taylor's character. It was purportedly obvious that Selena's character was Katy, with the former Disney actress even sporting a wig allegedly inspired by the "Roar" singer.

It was earlier reported that Katy Perry just laughed at Taylor Swift's antics. But recent rumors claimed that the "Teenage Dream" singer is allegedly not going down without a fight - she's purportedly making a diss song aimed at the "Blank Space" singer.

"Katy's tentatively titled 'Crocodile Tears' is a direct reply to Taylor's claims that she tried to sabotage Taylor's tour by hiring her backing dancers," an insider reportedly told Hollywood Life.

"Crocodile tears is a term used to describe insincere sorrow, and that's exactly what Katy thinks Taylor tried to achieve in her interview with Rolling Stone back in 2014 when she made those outrageous claims," the article said.

TMZ previously reported that Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's feud may have been set off by fighting over dancers.

"The girl-on-girl war ignited when 3 of Taylor's dancers jumped ship and joined Katy's tour. Taylor felt betrayed because she became very close to the dancers and considered them family," TMZ wrote.

However, Katy Perry camp is purportedly not accepting Taylor Swift's claim.

"As far as Katy was concerned, Taylor's claim was bogus and Katy had nothing to do with the hiring of those dancers," Hollywood Life's insider added.

The source continued, "Katy felt Taylor was trying to make her look bad by saying such things, and paint her as the villain. Taylor came out with 'Bad Blood' - a song about that infamous incident, and now it's Katy's time to share her side of events. Let the battle begin!"
