Gong Seung Yeon highlights the features of the LTE U plus phone in the latest commercials from LG. On August 31, the electronics company released two ads featuring the star and a mysterious specter.

In the ads, the 22-year-old actress is depicted with a scary female ghost and replicates a terrifying shower scene that is reminiscent of the classic horror flick, "Psycho."

Gong showcases the special features of LG phones including a built-in flashlight, as she attempts to ward off the creepy ghost that attempts to befriend her.

While the phones are the primary focus of the ads, the ability to watch top movies like "Twenty" is incorporated into the commercials.

The ad campaign merges horror with comedic timing to deliver unique shorts that evoke the emotional complexity of K-Dramas like "A Master's Sun" and "Oh My Ghost."

Gong Seung Yeon recently departed from MBC's scripted relationship show, "We Got Married," where she appeared as the virtual wife of CNBLUE's Lee Jong Hyun. The on-screen couple joined the show in March 2015 and emerged as fan-favorites. Their popularity on the show increased significantly after the departure of the LTE couple, Song Jae Rim and Kim So Eun.

Gong emerged from her training as a pop vocalist under the management of SM Entertainment to become one of Korea's newest leading ladies.

In 2015, she maintained a starring role in SBS' social commentary drama, "Heard It Through the Grapevine" before appearing on "We Got Married." She follows her role on the variety program with her portrayal of Min Da Kyung in the upcoming SBS period drama, "Six Flying Dragons."
