It's confirmed. Lee Hyun Woo will return to the small screen in the KBS drama "Martial Arts School" aka "Moorim School."

Lee will play the role of idol star Yoon Shi Woo. Yoon was a big star but when the drama starts his career is already on a downward spiral. When Yoon loses all hope of making a comeback, he decides to enroll in a martial arts school.

As a student at the martial arts school, Yoon will learn martial arts skills, but also some real-life values that help him understand where his life went wrong. The reason his career took a nosedive is not that he lacks talent but that he is arrogant and self-absorbed. Learning to put others first will ultimately help him achieve his goals.

Getting along with others is probably not a skill that Lee Hyun Woo needs to learn in real life since the 22-year-old actor has worked nonstop since he debuted as a child actor in the KBS program "Oolla Boolla Blue-jjang."

Lee Hyun Woo's last drama role was playing Prince Jung Hyun in "The Scholar Who Walks The Night." He is best known for roles in historical dramas such as "King Sejong The Great," The Return of Iljimae" and "Queen Seonduk." But he also appeared in popular dramas such as "To The Beautiful You" and "Master of Study."

The actor has been focused on films lately, appearing in "The Con Artists," with Kim Woo Bin and Jo Yoon Hee, and "Secretly, Greatly" with Kim Soo Hyun and Park Ki Woong. This year he was one of several actors who played the same character in the film "Beauty Inside."

He also enjoyed box office success when he appeared in the naval thriller "Northern Line Limit," playing Medic Park Dong Hyuk. The film, which tells the story of the Second Battle of Yeonpyeong," has broken box office records. "Northern Line Limit" topped the box office on opening day and as of August 2, it was the most watched Korean film in 2015.

"Martial Arts" will air in January. The Monday-Tuesday drama will also star Seo Ye Ji, VIXX's Hong Bin and Eugene Jung.
