The sequel to Nicholas Stoller's 2014 comedy film "Neighbours" title "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" is into making with more hilarious storyline. Though, the main protagonists from the last year's movie have confirmed that they are reprising their roles, Clara Mamet and Nora Lum are also in consideration to join the cast.
On February 6, 2015, it was announced by Universal Pictures that a sequel to "Neighbors" was is in development entitled "Sorority Rising."
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 20-year-old ABC's television comedy fame "The Neighbors" fame Clara Mametand American alternative hip-hop genre rapper Nora Lum aka Awkwafina, have joined the cast of "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising."
Earlier this year, "Hugo" fame Chloë Grace Moretz and "For You" singer Selene Gomez have already confirmed that they are in the team. So with these gorgeous famous one can imagine that the director is planning to create more trouble for the main protagonists, Mac Radner (Seth Rogen) and Teddy Sanders (Zac Efron).
The "17-Again" star Zac Efron, was earlier in news for his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens. Zac has a major role in the movie just like the first part. As the name of the movie suggests, it will circle around the sorority sisters who will move in as neighbors to Radner and Sanders. The movie will also focus on the reunion of the four boys of the movie, Mac, Teddy, Kelly, and Pete to battle against the gang of girls.
"Neighbours" earned $268M with a budget of $18 M. Universal Pictures who distributed 2014's "Neighbours" is aiming to gross more than the earlier film. Seth Rogen, Nicholas Stoller, Andrew Jay Cohen, Brenan O'Brien, and Evan Goldberg are working on the script of the film. Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Seth Rogen are also going to handle the production section.
The principal photography of the film has started from last month and is slated for release on May 20, 2016.
