Ratings for the SBS medical drama, "Yong Pal," continue to fluctuate, but the drama remains on the top of Wednesday and Thursday programming. According to the September 24 report published by Nielsen Korea, "Yong Pal" recorded 20 percent in nationwide viewership for episode 15. This was a decrease of 0.9 percent from its previous episode.

Episode 15 represented a turning point in the relationship between gangster surgeon-turned-wealthy husband, Kim Tae Hyun (Joo Won) and hieress Han Yeo Jin (Kim Tae Hee). Tae Hyun pursuaded Yeo Jin to refrain from extracting revenge against Chief Lee (Jeong Woong In), after he revealed the true nature of the veteran surgeon.

Chief Lee has been portrayed as an evil doctor throughout the series, but Tae Hyun discovered that he was the physician who initially rescued Yeo Jin after her desperate attempt to commit suicide.

Yeo Jin capitulated to give Chief Lee a momentary reprieve from her revenge plot. She decided to pursue her step-brother, Han Do Joon (Jo Hyeon Jae).

The ratings for the MBC romantic comedy, "She Was Pretty," continue to climb. "She Was Pretty" recorded 8.5 percent as Kim Hye Jin (Hwang Jung Eum) struggled to fit in with the magazine editorial team.

Her childhood friend turned relentless boss, Ji Seong Joon (Park Seo Joon), began his pursuit of her best friend Min Ha Ri (Go Joon Hee). However, Hye Jin experienced a breakthrough when she demonstrated her knowledge of fashion through her ability to distinguish a fringe skirt from other pieces.

Super Junior's Choi Siwon continues to demonstrate his ability to portray a nuanced comedic role, as Kim Shin Hyuk, a mysterious senior feature editor, who is slowly warming up to Hye Jin.

"The Merchant: Gaekju 2015" premiered with 6.9 percent. The MBC period series stars Jang Hyuk as Chun Bong Sam, a poor man who works his way from poverty to become a powerful merchant.
