"Magic Mike XXL" actress Amber Heard couldn't help but shed tears as she and husband, Johnny Depp, helped a foundation put hearing aids on hearing-impaired children in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
According to E! News, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard partnered with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to distribute hearing aids to about 200 beneficiaries on Thursday.
The event was also attended by Alice Cooper and guitarist Tommy Henriksen, Aerosmith's Joe Perry, Guns N' Roses former members Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, as well as Bruce Witkin.
Amber Heard was just there to observe the events, although Johnny Depp couldn't help but try putting a hearing aid on a little girl's ear after watching how the doctor did it.
"At one point, the blond beauty also became overcome with emotion and fought back tears while she held her arms around one of the hearing aid recipients," the article said.
"Following the hearing aid fittings, recipients were transported to the Rock in Rio festival, where many were able to hear live music for the very first time," it added.
According to its website, the Starkey Hearing Foundation raises money to distribute hearing aids across the globe. To date, the group already has presence in more than 100 countries and distributed 1.6 million hearing aids.
"Hearing aids are important tools," it said. "But we really strive to empower the people we help toward a better life and leave them with the knowledge that they too can improve the lives of others."
The last time Amber Heard and husband Johnny Depp went overseas, it didn't go to well as they found themselves right smack in a controversy when they smuggled their pooches about to be culled after entering Australia without going through quarantine.
Amber Heard and husband Johnny Depp tied the knot two times in February, once in his mansion and then on a private island in the Bahamas that the "Black Mass" actor owns.
