Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger announced their divorce a month ago, but the ex-couple are still making sweet music together, literally.

"YeeHaw! Writing with Chad today," the punk rock chick wrote on Instagram.

"Trying to figure out what 'being an adult' means and sounds cause im fuking confused now," one commenter said. "Avril's music is so underrated and people are bitching about not being adult. Avril, please don't write anything for my grandparents and just be you. Ive been a fan throughout let go and ur self titled album and every song is special and perfect."

Another commented, "Nice to hear about it! Keep it up!"

On Sept. 2, Avril Lavigne announced the divorce to Chad Kroeger in her Instagram. She wrote, "It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you for your support."

Radar Online wasn't surprised about Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger's divorce because she has been suffering from a "sexless marriage with a man that she did not find attractive to begin with."

"All that the two of them did in the past couple of months was fight because his career is basically over and he has been trying to stop her from reinventing herself like she is trying to do," the article alleged.

Aside from divorce with Chad Kroeger, Avril Lavigne admitted to being sick with Lyme disease. The "Complicated" singer then asked her fans for prayers for her recovery.

Avril Lavigne wrote on AvrilMusicChart to send a message to her fans.

"I feel bad because I haven't been able to say anything to the fans to let them no why I've been absent," she said. "I'm not feeling well. I'm having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers. (sic)."
