It looks like iPhone 6 and 6S users are disatisfied with their much -anticipated gadgets. Some Apple enthusiasts are regret they upgraded their phones, said Tech Insider IO. One of the common problems plaguing the ubiquitous iPhone is the home button getting too hot during use.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s users have complained that the new iPhone 6S Touch ID button gets so hot that it becomes unusable. It becomes too hot to even touch.
One person, Jazzie Fay wrote the following post on iPhone forums about the way his iPhone has been acting up since Friday. He wrote that when he woke up in the morning, the home button was burning hot and the screen was totally black.
And he added, that the phone was working fine the previous night. He had plugged it in to charge the battery and in the morning the phone did not work. The user testified the phone itself was intact and the charging port was not hot.
However, he claimed that the home button was on fire. He had the phone unplugged for an hour and the button was still on fire, said FirstPost.com.
Another user who is freelance designer by profession revealed on his Twitter account that his iPhone 6S would shut down when 50% of the battery was charged. He also said that his iPhone's home button became unbearably hot after he carried the phone in his pocket during the day, said International Business Times.
Apple's latest smart phone boasts of a better camera, pressure sensitive 3D Touch screen, faster processor and quick fingerprint sensor, but lives fast and dies before bed, said The Guardian.
According to Tech Insider IO, the home button overheating issue is not dependent on the way the phone is used. While the new Apple ad tauted, "The only thing that's changed is everything," Apple watchers have come to conclusion that the iPhone 6s is not very different from its predecessors.
