Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin seem to be the most amicable separated couple in Hollywood. Often, they are apparently seen together since they have announced their break up last March. Reportedly, Paltrow, 41, has revealed a "painful" facial treatment that she's using. According to E! News, "It's like being smacked in the face!" Is the painful beauty regimen associated with her estranged husband's blunt statement that they are not together?

Recently, the Coldplay frontman explained their current relationship status. "The truth is...well, I don't really love talking about this stuff," Martin said on the Valentine in the Morning radio show Friday. "But the thing we told everyone at the beginning of the year is true. We are very close. We are not together. But we're, you know, that's the truth and that's it."

According to Daily Mail, the Iron Man star apparently does not let her personal troubles get her down. She has managed to keep her profile relatively "drama free" and live her life in a normal manner as possible.

Part of it is keeping herself beautiful. Reportedly, the actress admitted that she's a fan of painful Thermage laser treatment.

"It's non-invasive but it's quite painful, like having your face smacked with a rubber band that has an electric shock in it. But it works," Paltrow expressed to Hello Magazine.

"I try to have a facial every few weeks. I go to Sonya Dakar in California, she's brilliant and absolutely mad! I go for hardcore squeezing, peeling, microdermabrasion and lasers- the works," she recently told Elle Magazine

Reportedly, Thermage laser treatment which is also known as the "face ironing treatment" helps tighten and smooth the top layer of the skin by plumping up the lower layers. The aim of Thermage is to boost the levels of the collagen in the lower layers of the skin to create a tightening effect.

According to E! News, Thermage laser treatments will cost a half-face treatment for around $3,900, while a full-face treatment comes with the substantial price tag of $5,240.
