52-year-old actress Lee Ji Eun was found lifeless inside her house in Seoul. The police are already investigating the case.
According to a media report on March 9, actress Lee Ji Eun was found dead inside her home in Junggu in Seoul at around 8:00 in the evening on March 8. The police immediately came to the house of the actress after receiving a report from an acquaintance that she cannot be contacted for days already.
The actress was said to be living alone after her son joined the military.
Lee Ji Eun appeared in the 1990's drama "Young Man's Yangji." She started her acting career in the SBS show "Model" in 1994 and in "The Place in The Sun". Some of her movies are "Rub Love," "The Birdcage In," and "Century's End."

Lee Ji Eun received several awards during her years in the entertainment industry. She won the New Actress Award at the 16th BLue Dragon Film Festival and in the same category at the 34th Daejong Film Festival for the movie "My Dear Keum Hong." She rose to fame after her portrayal in the drama "Young Man Yangji."
Many were shocked by this sudden news, and people hope that the investigation may go well. As of writing, authorities are still investigating the case and in the process of doing an autopsy in order to know her cause of death.

Lee Ji Eun also participated as a supporting character in the 2004 drama "Emperor of the Sea," with Song Il-gook, Choi Soo-jong, Chae Shi-ra, Kim Heung Soo, Lee Won Jong, Park Young Gyu, and many more..
The projects that the actress participated in gave a big impact to the audience in the 90s. She then became inactive in the entertainment industry circa 2000s and focused on living a normal life, behind all the glitz and glamour of show business
