Chris Brown has been frantic about gaining custody of his daughter and his 'Baby Mama' Nia Guzman has been giving him a hard time with visitation rights to see his daughter. It looks like Chris Brown-Nia Guzman custody battle over their daughter Royalty is over after a court ruling that mediated the dispute, giving the proud parents joint custody of their daughter.
A turnaround occurred after Nia Guzman's bf King Ba was sought after by the police and arrested for a felony. Up to that point, Brown was fighting Guzman's claims for paying $2500 in child support for Royalty after his 'baby mama' requested for 15K to take care of Royalty . Guzman also arranged to block the singer's visitation rights to see his daughter.
But Chris will be saving some money after he and Guzman decided to settle the custody case.
"You two have agreed to joint physical and legal custody of Royalty," Hollywood Life reported. "Her last name has been legally changed to Brown. Chris, you will pay Nia $2,500 a month in child support, plus pay for Royalty's schooling, health insurance, medical bills and nannies," the terms of the agreement said.
"Chris, you'll have your darling 15 month old, 12 days a month, which probably works out well with your demanding travel schedule. This is a win-win for all of you - Chris, Nia and Royalty. Now, Chris and Nia, you can both concentrate on being the best parents possible for your precious daughter," added Hollywood Life."
At first, Chris didn't show up at the Houston courthouse. However, he posted pictures online demostrating he was there during the whole session. Guzman had initially declared that she wanted to move the Royalty custody case to California, where she resided at the present time. But the judge threw out that motion after ruling that the case filed in Texas, TMZ reported.
