Android Marshmallow 6 release date is one of the most talked about topics in tech circles. So far Motorola and HTC have announced their devices to receive the new Android M software update whenever released.
On the contrary, Samsung has remained officially mum on its Android Marshmallow 6 release date. However, a recent leak has confirmed that the South Korean mobile company is preparing "major update" for its top devices, revealed Latino Post. However, some sources also stated that the "major update" could be yet another stable version of its 5.1.1 version OS for Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Chinese blogosphere has been rife with a list that been circulating for a while. It features various top phone companies including Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi, Huawei and others. Obviously, virtually all of their high-end handsets will be receiving Android 6.0 first, with others to follow, said PhoneArena.com.
Further T-Mobile revealed a list including Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge to receive Android Marshmallow 6 on its release date. With T-Mobile's official announcement, other networks like Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, US Cellular, Bell, and Vodafone are expected to follow suit, said VC Post. The report also said that although there is no official statement on Android Marshmallow 6 release date but the new OS is slate for launch not earlier than December 2015.
Older handsets like the Galaxy S4 and Note 3, Galaxy S6 Duos and Note 4 Duos look like note not moving ahead at the time of Android Marshmallow 6 release, said Techtimes.com.
Android Marshmallow 6 release offers better key features and enhancements including more personalised control over apps. Users will be able to restrict permissions to downloaded apps while using it for the first time and not at the time of installation. Further, it will give more finger print scan support not only for unlocking the phone but also at the time of making in-store purchases or at the Play Store, VC Post reported.
