Adam Searl UCLA Arrested On Suspicion Of Rape After Ishmael Adams Uber-Driver Cellphone Theft

According to Los Angeles Police Department, the 20-year old UCLA football player Adam Searl was arrested on suspicion of rape on Thursday, October 8th. UCLA coach Jim Mora divulged that they have taken the allegations extremely seriously after they had been informed about the situation. Sources revealed that Adam Searl was in custody on the campus and later was released on a bail of $300,000, said The Guardian.

LAPD's Operations West Bureau Special Assault Section worked on this case along with the University of California Police Department. LAPD has directed the concerned case to the Los Angeles District Attorney's court on Tuesday. The offender, Adam Searl UCLA, has to make his first presence on October 29th.

According to investigators, Searl met the woman during the off-campus party in Westwood on October 19th, 2014. He escorted her to a residence, where she fell asleep. She alleged that she woke up finding him mugging her sexually. An investigation began shortly after the alleged incident and the woman later identified the man as Adam Searl. The UCLA department had suspended Adam Searl indeterminately and as the legal actions were going on, said the Dailymail.

The authorities also suspected him for three counts of rape. Police reported that they were not aware whether Adam Searl has retained an attorney or not. Adam Searl was the second Bruins player taken under arrest, like Ishmael Adams who was arrested for stealing a cellphone from Uber driver said Ktla.Com

Adam Searl had stricken an average of 39.1 yards against Arizona State in five weeks. The 2014 record says that he had 11 strikes in UCLA 2014, said Newsweek. He began this season as a backup, but punted five times in the Bruins' most recent game against Arizona State, said ESPN
