In a report by NME.com, Miley Cyrus' tour will have "The Flaming Lips" as live band for her upcoming November and December shows. The musical extravagannza will be brought to Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, New York, Philadelphia and Boston.
"I felt like I was in the 'Phantom Tollbooth' when the offer to open the Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz tour came in, but I have a pretty weird life and tend to end up in really bizarre situations that I never in a million years would have pictured," Dan Deacon said in an interview.
The musician also added that his tour with Miley Cyrus and the "Flaming Lips" will serve as "curving event" of his career.
