The plot of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been a closely guarded secret even as fans scoured online for any hint of the storyline for the much-anticipated Zach Snyder film. Well, they can worry no more as part of the plot can be revealed straight from Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill's mouths.

Of course, fans already have some hint as to the source of the conflict based on the trailer of the film. There's also the suggestion that the consequences of the fight between Superman and General Zod in "Man of Steel" has spilled over to the new film.

It turns out that Wayne Financial Building was destroyed and his employees got crushed under all that rubble.

Henry Cavill was interviewed by Total Film, as relayed by Variety, and he pretty much confirmed that the plot for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will revolve around that scenario.

"What happens there is one of Bruce's buildings gets destroyed and he's trying to save all the people inside the building and he can't," he said said.

"So he is this angry person who fears what Superman may do. Why are they just going to trust this super-powered alien? What if he does decide to turn against us?"

Ben Affleck, for his part, explained the psyche of his character, Bruce Wayne, on how he decided to take on Superman.

"He's found himself in a place of harboring a tremendous amount of rage for Superman," the actor said, "So it's how he got there, and what that's done to him, and what that's done to people around him like Alfred, who are, I think, very scared and worried for him. It's something that's interesting and new."

The two actors, however, are silent on the role of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in the conflict between Batman and Superman.

Watch out for plot details for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" which will be revealed here when they become available ahead of the release date in the summer of next year.
