Beyonce may have felt relieved for having a copyright lawsuit against her dismissed by the court, but it won't be long before her camp would have to prepare for another defense once again.

According to the latest news, Ahmad Javon Lane, the singer who filed the copyright infringement case against Jay Z's wife, is allegedly thinking of appealing his case.

Javon sued Beyonce for allegedly copying his song "XOXO," which he argued had similarities to the song "XO" released by Jay Z's wife.

"The judges ruling in the lawsuit was unfortunate. Javon has stated that it is unclear how Beyoncé came across his song but it was shopped to close artists and producers of hers shortly before her version came out," Domenick Nati of Nati Celebrity Services, of which Javon is a client, told KDramaStars.

"Javon is disappointed with the judges ruling and is strongly considering fighting his case with an appeal. He is also corresponding with NASA which was sampled in Beyoncé's 'XO,'" Nati's statement continued.

According to a news report, a federal judge did not purportedly see strong similarities between the two songs.

"The judge said the songs were not the least bit similar musically or lyrically ... and beyond that he said the themes were also different," TMZ reported.

The judge elaborated on the differences between the two songs by noting that Beyonce's song is more subtle and metaphorical.

"A listener... would quickly grasp that the melodies of the two songs are completely different," Judge Engelmayer wrote in the decision, as quoted by Entertainment Tonight in a news report.

"'XOXO's lyrics are explicitly sexual, while 'XO's are substantially more tame and metaphorical. The singer in 'XOXO' leaves little to the imagination, describing himself as 'horny' and singing that his love interest's 'body is the promise,'" the decision continued.

"Lest the point be missed, the 'XOXO' singer adds that he is 'loving all of you, every inch of you,'" Judge Engelmayer explained. "In 'XO,' by contrast, the lyrics combine light and dark imagery... and the invocation of romantic intimacy is considerably more subtle."

Beyonce's camp has yet to comment on the news that Javon is considering appealing his copyright infringement case.
