Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are allegedly still struggling to make their marriage work amid their busy schedules and soaring careers.

According to a report, Portia de Rossi purportedly thinks that adopting a baby could be the answer to her and Ellen DeGeneres' marriage troubles.

Unfortunately, Ellen allegedly thinks otherwise. Despite Portia's efforts to convince her wife to build a family, the talk show host purportedly wouldn't budge about not wanting to have any kids.

"The reason probably isn't all that complicated - DeGeneres can be a pretty selfish lady demanding it's her way or the highway - and she doesn't want a baby," Celeb Dirty Laundry previously reported.

"The couple was rumored to be constantly fighting which led to Portia drinking way too much. Insiders said de Rossi checked into Passages Malibu in May 2014 and completed a 30-day drug and alcohol treatment program," the report continued.

According to rumors, Ellen DeGeneres may allegedly be losing patience over Portia de Rossi spending too much time at work now that she's a mainstay in "Scandal."

Portia reportedly doesn't want to give up her career especially now that she has gotten back on track with a high-rating TV series after not being in the limelight for so long.

Though divorce rumors have been circulating earlier this year, there are reports that the couple may have rekindled their flame in June, as they were spotted in Cape Town Airport after spending a week on a safari holiday at the luxury Sabi Sands Reserve lodge in Singita.

Some speculate that the trip was one of the couple's efforts at working at their relationship to prevent a looming divorce.

"And the vacation appears to have done wonders for the pair, who both looked relaxed and at ease ahead of their flight," Daily Mail previously reported about the couple's arrival after their vacation.

"The pair put divorce rumors firmly to rest as they walked hand in hand through the airport only separating to hug friends goodbye at the terminal."
