With 16 days remaining for the fan-driven category, the "Producer" stars maintain a substantial lead over their competition in the Popularity Award division.
Kim demonstrates his significance as a Hallyu star with 81.64 percent of the popular vote. In 2015, the 27-year-old actor portrayed Baek Seung Chan in the KBS weekend docu-drama, "Producer." The role punctuated his significance as an actor that has positively impacted the Korean Wave, through roles in the 2013 musical series "Dream High" and the international hit, "My Love from the Star."
Lee Min Ho falls in second place with 6.25 percent of votes. Anticipatication continues to rise as the "Gangnam 1970" actor prepares for his second film role as the star of the Korean-Chinese co-production, "Bounty Hunters."
EXO's D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) continues to place third with 4.57. D.O. has broken boundaries as a strong acting idol whose credits include the social commentary flick "Cart," followed by a key role in the psychological drama, "It's Okay, That's Love. He is a rising star in the acting world, with highly anticipated film roles in 2016 opposite Kim So Hyun in "Pure Love" and Park Shin Hye in "Hyung."
Yoo Ah In is in fourth place in the popularity vote with 1.68 percent. His profile rose with the cable series, "Secret Love Affair" and was bolstered through the blockbuster 2015 crime film, "Veteran." Yoo currently leads the cast of the
Gong Hyo Jin dominates the Popularity Award category for actresses with 81.20 percent. Her impact on Korean drama gained momentum in 2013 with the supernatural series, "Master's Sun," followed by the critically-acclaimed hit, "It's Okay, That's Love." In 2015, she was the love interest of Kim Soo Hyun in "Producer."
Han Ji Min is in second place with 5.34 percent. She recently returned to K-Drama as Jang Ha Na, an acrobatic circus performer in "Jekyll, Hyde, and Me."
"Oh My Ghost" star Park Bo Young is placed third with 4.70 percent while Jun Ji Hyun demonstrates her significance as a leading actress of the Hallyu Wave with 4.27 percent.
