It seems that Arsenal have finally managed to move past its frequent spot of No. 4 in the English Premier League.
Arsenal continued its winning streak in the English Premier League by winning its fifth consequent game in the season. Arsenal won against Swansea by 3-0 score which threw fans at a jubilant mood.
"But this is also a side that has developed that knack of burying their shortcomings underneath piles of wins," quoted The Dailymail.
"They did it in winning 3-0 at Watford a fortnight ago and they did again in south Wales on Saturday, riding the difficulties of a close first half before pounding Swansea into the dirt."
French star player Giroud scored the first goal in the match by a header in to the goal from Ozil's cross, which put Arsenal into the lead. The next one came from Laurent Koscielny, who took the opportunity by intercepting the ball and netting it form the box. And the final score came from Joel Campbell.
Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger, a former French Football player has added another feather in his cap by having the team score 2000 goals under his name. Giroud scored the 2000th goal for Arsene Wenger. Arsene Wenger is the longest serving club manager, from September till the present date. Arsenal has kept its hold on the position at number 2, although having same points (25) as that of Manchester City. Arsenal also managed to beat German giants Bayern Munich on October 21, in the Champions League group stage game.
On the rivalry between the Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and him, Wenger said, "I don't talk too much about that. Let's focus on our game. We have a bit of difference with some teams. Let's hope we keep a good balance between hunger and humility."
Wenger was happier about stealing three game points with Swansea city, who apparently took away 6 points from Arsenal last season.
