The breakup between Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield is reportedly amicable, and in fact the "Amazing Spider-Man" couple still has a lot of love for each other.

"They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close," the source told Us Weekly. "It just wasn't working."

Another article from E! News claimed "There is definitely still love for each other there."

Accordingly, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield "remain close and are on good terms" after the breakup.

Earlier this year, breakup rumors also hounded the couple when they were not photographed together for a long time.

At that time, E! reported that "It was always a 'break' due to schedules."

"They have been really busy, so they finally have had time to see each other again. They care for each other and always have the best time when together," the source added.

Lainey Gossip claimed that the almost similar wording of the "sources" on the breakup of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield is a lesson on how Hollywood works.

"This is basically an official confirmation...without a name attached to it," the article said. "What's interesting to me here then is that whoever this is - and in my opinion it's obviously the publicist - doesn't want to take responsibility for the statement."

"Emma and Andrew have claimed before that they don't talk about their personal lives publicly so they wouldn't want to set the precedent," it added.

The confirmation on the breakup certainly won't come from Emma Stone who said during an interview with WSJ where she explains her need to be private with her relationships.

"I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason -- because it's all so speculative and baseless," she said. "I understand the interest in it completely, because I've had it, too. But it's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it."
