Chris Soules said that finding a soulmate definitely was the main goal in joining "The Bachelor" even if it didn't work out between him and ex-fiancee Whitney Bischoff.
Speaking to Toronto Sun, he was asked whether he actually believe that he can find his soulmate in just 30 days.
"It was for me, absolutely," Chris Soules said. "That was my number-one goal: finding love. Obviously it didn't work out for me, but it's definitely possible. People fall in love every day at a bar or on the street."
"When you have 20+ women and one guy, sparks develop. Having said that, it is hard to know someone in that short of time, so yes, it is a risk."
But "The Bachelor" star is not dating anybody right now, despite all the rumors claiming otherwise.
"I am very single these days. Dancing hasn't affected my dating life because I'm sort of on a dating hiatus," he said, referring to his stint in "Dancing with the Stars." "I'm recovering from the 30 women I dated in one month on The Bachelor. That took the excitement out of dating for a little while! I'll get back to it... but I need a break!"
Chris Soules also said that after "The Bachelor," he's focused on being a farmer right now and "no motivation to pursue anything else."
"But I also never thought I'd be where I am today, so I'm open to opportunities that have integrity. My main goal is to be involved in agriculture and be an advocate for it. Providing the world with tasty and affordable food is my main passion," he said.
During an earlier interview by Fox News with the former "The Bachelor," Chris Soules said that his dating life is "non-existent."
"I'm focusing on doing what I love after going through what I went through. It wasn't long ago that I was engaged," he said. "After you do that and have a really serious relationship but for me I think it's best for me to focus on doing what I love ... I'm trying to focus on my career in agriculture."
